A second group of 30-day countries includes Türkiye, the EU states, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, the United States, Canada, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Israel, the UAE, Qatar, China and many Latin American and Caribbean states. Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman have 10 days. The regime does not cover stateless persons living in those countries.

Additional fees for actual processing costs depend on where the visa is issued, regardless of nationality.
Tourist and pilgrimage visas
The tourist visa is issued for up to one month to foreigners visiting for tourism, and a group tourist visa for up to one month to groups of at least five people. A separate visa of up to two months is available for studying Uzbekistan's cultural, historical, religious and spiritual heritage, based on questionnaires submitted by tourism companies and the Committee on Religious Affairs. Visas are issued at Uzbek diplomatic missions and consular offices abroad on the basis of a visa confirmation from the Consular and Legal Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The confirmation follows an invitation-application from a legal entity or individual registered in Uzbekistan; the Ministry considers such applications within 4 working days.

- Plan your trip within the 30 days counted from the border crossing.
- For a longer stay or if you need a visa, choose the e-visa or a tourist visa.
- If an invitation is needed, ask the tour company or host to apply to the Ministry.

How the period is counted
The 30-day and 60-day visa-free periods start when the traveller crosses the Uzbek border, and the visitor must leave when they expire. Anyone who needs to stay longer must submit documents for one of the entry visa categories. Children under 16 travelling with a legal representative on a biometric travel document may enter visa-free for the duration of the companion's visa, but for no more than 90 days.
