Who is eligible

Eligibility is decided by the questions at the start of the Accès Maroc application. Depending on your nationality, the portal may accept you directly, or ask you to rely on a residence permit valid for more than 180 days, or on a multiple-entry visa already in force and valid for more than 90 days, issued by one of the countries the portal lists. If none of these routes applies, the portal sends you to the AEVM, to a consular visa, or tells you that you are visa-exempt.

The passport must be an ordinary passport issued by your country of nationality and valid for more than 90 days. Your planned exit date may not fall after the expiry of the passport, of the supporting residence permit or visa, or of the e-Visa itself.

Price and service levels

Two service levels are offered: Standard at MAD 770 with an indicative 3 to 7 business days, and Express at MAD 1,100 with 1 to 3 business days. Both give the same 30-day, single-entry visa valid for 180 days. Payment is by card online; an unpaid file stays pending, and a new application requires a new payment.

Application on Accès Maroc

After the eligibility step you enter your identity and passport data, travel dates and, where relevant, the residence permit or visa that makes you eligible, then you tick all the travel conditions, choose Standard or Express and pay. The decision is sent by email. You can follow the file with its number and your email; access to tracking is confirmed by a one-time code sent to that email.

  1. Open acces-maroc.ma and answer the eligibility questions on nationality, residence and other visas.
  2. If the result is the e-Visa, fill in personal, passport and travel data.
  3. Tick all the travel conditions and choose Standard (MAD 770) or Express (MAD 1,100).
  4. Pay by card and keep the file number.
  5. Track the application with the file number and email; download the e-Visa when approved.
  6. Travel within the validity, carry the e-Visa and any supporting permit, and stay no more than 30 days.

Forms

When to apply

Count Moroccan business days only (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays). Apply at least a week before departure for the standard service, and remember that the stay must end within the e-Visa's 180-day validity.

Refusal and false statements

If the portal finds you ineligible, the e-Visa application cannot be completed. Applicants must certify that their answers are correct and complete: a false statement leads to rejection, to cancellation of an e-Visa already granted and possibly to prosecution. Holding an e-Visa does not guarantee entry; the border check can still examine your purpose and means.

Frequently asked questions

Do visa-exempt travellers need the Morocco e-Visa?

No. Nationals on the exemption list enter without any visa for up to 90 days. If you are unsure, the eligibility check on Accès Maroc reports whether your nationality is exempt, needs an AEVM or needs an e-Visa or consular visa.

How much does the Morocco e-Visa cost?

MAD 770 for the standard service and MAD 1,100 for the express service, according to the price list published by Accès Maroc.

Can the e-Visa be used for two trips?

No. It allows a single entry and a stay of at most 30 days; a second trip needs a new e-Visa.

My residence permit expires next month. Can I still use it for eligibility?

Only if it is valid for more than 180 days at the time of application and remains valid for your whole stay; otherwise the portal will not accept it.

Is a passport other than an ordinary one accepted?

The portal requires a passport issued by your country of nationality; the AEVM explicitly accepts ordinary passports only. Holders of diplomatic or service passports should contact a Moroccan mission.
