Czech fast-track and priority visa services
Government programmes with priority submission and processing
In short
Czech missions offer no paid express service. Faster handling exists only through government programmes: participants get an appointment assigned by the mission instead of queuing, and some programmes add a processing promise, such as 30 days for the Key and Research Staff Programme. Inclusion is requested by the employer or university, lasts one year and gives no legal entitlement.

Key facts
- Validity
- Programme inclusion is generally valid for one year.
- Processing time
- Key and Research Staff: 30 days; Digital Nomad: 45 days; other programmes: guaranteed appointment, standard legal limits.
- Family
- Key staff, highly qualified workers and digital nomads can submit together with close family members.
- Where to apply
- The employer applies to MPO, CzechInvest or the Ministry of Health, universities include students; the mission then assigns the appointment.
Programmes limited to some nationalities
The Qualified Worker Programme for CZ-ISCO groups 4–8 and the Digital Nomad Program, with its 45-day processing, are limited to listed nationalities. A pilot-training project is likewise open to listed countries for future professional pilots accepted by an approved Czech training organisation.
How inclusion works
For first inclusion the employer sends the application form, a statutory declaration, a declaration on the guaranteed salary and certificates from the tax office and the Czech Social Security Administration; posted workers also need proof of six months with the sending company. Inclusion is valid for one year, and further employees in that year need only the form and the salary declaration. The mission allocates the appointment to the employer's contact person; one alternative date is offered if the first is missed for a good reason. Status is checked at frs.gov.cz.
- Ask your employer or university whether it takes part in a government programme.
- The employer sends the inclusion request to MPO, CzechInvest or the Ministry of Health; universities include students themselves.
- Wait for the Czech mission to assign an appointment and lodge the application in person.
- Follow the file at frs.gov.cz with the mission's application number.
Programmes for qualified staff and students
Key and Research Staff Programme: for managers, specialists and statutory representatives (CZ-ISCO 1–3) hired by investors, research organisations, technology companies and start-ups. Investors apply to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the others to CzechInvest. The employee and close family can lodge at the mission with simplified paperwork, and the application is processed within 30 days.
Highly Qualified Worker Programme: for CZ-ISCO 1–3 jobs with employers that have operated in Czechia for at least two years, have no tax, social or health insurance arrears and have employed at least three people for three consecutive months in the last two years; medical staff are handled by the Ministry of Health. Student Facilitation Program: universities include admitted students themselves, with the Ministry of Education as guarantor, and the mission contacts the student with a submission date.
No express fee and no entitlement
There is no official fee for faster processing of Czech visas. Inclusion in a programme is not a legal right of either the employer or the applicant, and the ministries do not mediate between the employer and the mission.
