Barbados tourist visa and entry requirements
Visitor entry
In short
The visa list of Barbados's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade states for each nationality whether a visa is needed and how long a visitor may stay; most visa-exempt nationalities get 90 days or six months. Permission to enter is always granted by the immigration officer at the port of entry. Visitors complete the online Immigration and Customs form, available 72 hours before arrival, and carry a passport valid for the trip, a return ticket, their intended address and evidence of personal support. Minors travelling without both parents need notarised consent letters.

Who needs a visa
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs' list of visa requirements for foreign nationals entering Barbados, in its August 2022 version, gives an entry for each country: whether a visa is required and, for exempt nationals, the maximum stay. Most exempt nationalities may stay up to 90 days or up to six months; a few entries allow 28 days. Check the entry for your passport before you travel.
Nationals of countries that do need a visa apply online and must obtain permission before booking travel; a single-entry visa costs US$107 and a multiple-entry visa US$211. An entry visa, where needed, does not guarantee entry: only the immigration officer at the port of entry grants permission to enter.
Children travelling to Barbados
A minor under 18 travelling alone needs a written consent letter from a parent or legal guardian, signed before a notary public with the notary's seal, stating the length of stay and naming an authorised adult who will receive the child on arrival with that person's contact details. A minor travelling with an adult who is not a parent or guardian needs a notarised parental consent letter naming the accompanying adult, with their address and phone number. Carry the original and a copy.
