In short
Barbados grants immigrant status under section 6 or subsection 13(7) of the Immigration Act and, separately, permanent resident status, applied for on Form A1. The file includes certified forms, birth and, where relevant, marriage certificates (including the Barbadian spouse's birth certificate if married to a Barbadian), a medical report, police certificates from each country lived in for six months in the past three years, photos, proof of qualifications and employment. Applicants setting up a business show funds brought to Barbados, and applicants over 60 show their means of support, income and property.
