Poland: visa decisions in Singapore
| Year | Applications | Visas issued | Refused | Refusal rate | Multiple-entry share |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2023 | 387 | 353 | 33 | 8.5% | 61.8% |
| 2024 | 414 | 391 | 23 | 5.5% | 41.9% |
| 2025 | 472 | 441 | 31 | 6.6% | 39.2% |
In 2025, Poland’s embassy and consulates in Singapore (Singapore) received 472 applications for short-stay Schengen visas and issued 441. 6.6% of applications were refused. In 2024 the rate was much the same, 5.5%. Applications rose by 14% compared with 2024 (414).
For comparison, all Schengen states together refused 5.1% of the applications lodged in Singapore that year, from 0.4% at the consulates of Belgium to 10.3% at those of the Netherlands. Poland’s consulates worldwide refused 15.8%. Poland was the 11th most applied-for Schengen state in Singapore.
You apply to the Schengen state that is your main destination (the longest stay or the main purpose; the state of first entry only when there is none), so a lower rate elsewhere is no reason to apply there. The figures cover applications lodged in Singapore, by any nationality: mostly citizens, but also residents from other countries.
