Kyrgyzstan business visa

The B visa covers short-term stays of up to 90 calendar days for purposes not associated with generating profit: business events such as negotiations, conferences and meetings, sports events, and receiving medical services, upon invitation from a legal entity of any form of ownership or from an international organisation. It does not give the right to work or to engage in individual entrepreneurial activity.

The Sapar visa (J) is issued on a substantiated petition of state authorities or local self-government bodies of Kyrgyzstan, for up to one year with the possibility of extension, to take part in negotiations, conferences, meetings and sports events they organise. Separate sample applications exist for business visits by a Kyrgyz legal entity and for medical visits arranged by a Kyrgyz medical institution. The Sapar visa also does not allow employment.

Passports must remain valid for at least six months after the end of the requested Kyrgyz visa, contain at least two blank pages and be undamaged, without unofficial marks. Supporting documents must be in Kyrgyz or Russian or translated into one of these languages.

The inviting organisation provides a written statement using the B visa sample published on the portal.

Applications on evisa.e-gov.kg are completed in English with scanned passport pages and a digital photo, and paid by card, which need not be in the applicant's name. Review takes five working days from the moment the application is complete. Fees depend on visa category, type and period and are not refunded after a refusal or for unused visas.

After arrival, foreigners must register at their place of stay within five working days, unless their country is on the government list of nationalities exempted from registration for a stated period.
