If you work for a company in Brazil, this visa cannot be requested. You must prove three things: a statement that you can perform your professional activities remotely, a contract or other documents showing the link with a foreign employer, and proof of means of subsistence from a foreign payer.
Other documents
Consulates also ask for the online form signed, a valid passport, a recent ICAO-standard 3x4 cm photo, a criminal record certificate for applicants 18 and over (under 3 months old, showing the city of birth exactly as in the passport), a full birth certificate with parents' names and city of birth, travel and medical insurance issued in English or officially translated, and the fee receipt. Applicants who are not nationals of the country where they apply must prove legal residence there.
