Czech Republic: visa decisions in Singapore
| Year | Applications | Visas issued | Refused | Refusal rate | Multiple-entry share |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2023 | 314 | 313 | 1 | 0.3% | 13.7% |
| 2024 | 342 | 339 | 3 | 0.9% | 25.7% |
| 2025 | 399 | 398 | 1 | 0.3% | 29.4% |
In 2025, the Czech Republic’s embassy and consulates in Singapore (Singapore) received 399 applications for short-stay Schengen visas and issued 398. The refusal rate was 0.3%. That is barely different from 2024 (0.9%). Applications rose by 17% compared with 2024 (342).
For comparison, all Schengen states together refused 5.1% of the applications lodged in Singapore that year, from 0.4% at the consulates of Belgium to 10.3% at those of the Netherlands. the Czech Republic’s consulates worldwide refused 14.2%. The Czech Republic was the 13th most applied-for Schengen state in Singapore.
You apply to the Schengen state that is your main destination (the longest stay or the main purpose; the state of first entry only when there is none), so a lower rate elsewhere is no reason to apply there. The figures cover applications lodged in Singapore, by any nationality: mostly citizens, but also residents from other countries.
