Belarus business visa
Business visas: short-term (C) and long-term multiple-entry (D)
In short
Business travellers who are not visa-exempt, or who need more than their visa-free period, apply for a short-term C visa or a long-term multiple-entry D visa at a Belarusian mission. The usual support document is a visa support letter from a Belarusian legal entity. D visas run for more than 90 days and up to five years, with longer terms reserved for applicants who have used earlier long-term visas.

Visa categories for business
Belarus issues entry visas by purpose: business, participation in sporting, cultural, scientific and educational events and internships, humanitarian programmes, private affairs, tourism, employment and others. Business trips use the business category, either as a C visa valid for up to 90 days with one, two or several entries, or as a multiple-entry D visa issued for more than 90 days and up to five years.
Support documents
The main support document is a visa support letter issued by a Belarusian legal entity. Long-term business visas can also be based on company documents showing that the foreigner founded a commercial organisation in Belarus, or on a letter from a representative office or branch of a foreign company in Belarus for its heads and staff. Road and rail crew members use applications from carrier associations or railway companies. The heads of newly opened representative offices present the decision to open the office and their appointment letter.

Each stay on a D visa is limited to 90 days unless an international agreement provides otherwise.

Business visitors carry medical insurance of at least EUR 10,000, have funds of at least two base values per day or a guarantee letter from the inviting company, and register their place of stay within ten days. Travelling on to Russia, foreigners receive a migration card from the Belarusian authorities to fill in before entering Russia.
