Lithuania: visa decisions in Singapore
| Year | Applications | Visas issued | Refused | Refusal rate | Multiple-entry share |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2023 | 25 | 25 | 0 | 0.0% | 60.0% |
| 2024 | 79 | 62 | 12 | 16.2% | 30.6% |
| 2025 | 51 | 47 | 3 | 6.0% | 40.4% |
In 2025, Lithuania’s embassy and consulates in Singapore (Singapore) received 51 applications for short-stay Schengen visas and issued 47. 6.0% of applications were refused. In 2024 it had been 16.2%: the rate fell by 10.2 points, a clear improvement for applicants. Applications fell by 35% compared with 2024 (79).
For comparison, all Schengen states together refused 5.1% of the applications lodged in Singapore that year, from 0.4% at the consulates of Belgium to 10.3% at those of the Netherlands. Lithuania’s consulates worldwide refused 14.4%. Lithuania was the 15th most applied-for Schengen state in Singapore.
You apply to the Schengen state that is your main destination (the longest stay or the main purpose; the state of first entry only when there is none), so a lower rate elsewhere is no reason to apply there. The figures cover applications lodged in Singapore, by any nationality: mostly citizens, but also residents from other countries.
