2023 1,6481,43716810.5% 10.9%
2024 1,9421,69922011.5% 9.3%
2025 1,5081,425724.8% 20.8%

In 2025, Poland’s embassy and consulates in the Philippines (Manila) received 1,508 applications for short-stay Schengen visas and issued 1,425. 4.8% of applications were refused. In 2024 it had been 11.5%: the rate fell by 6.7 points, a clear improvement for applicants. Applications fell by 22% compared with 2024 (1,942).

For comparison, all Schengen states together refused 6.9% of the applications lodged in the Philippines that year, from 3.8% at the consulates of the Netherlands to 22.3% at those of the Czech Republic. Poland’s consulates worldwide refused 15.8%. Poland was the 14th most applied-for Schengen state in the Philippines.

You apply to the Schengen state that is your main destination (the longest stay or the main purpose; the state of first entry only when there is none), so a lower rate elsewhere is no reason to apply there. The figures cover applications lodged in the Philippines, by any nationality: mostly citizens, but also residents from other countries.
