Poland: visa decisions in Armenia

YearApplicationsVisas issuedRefusedRefusal rateMultiple-entry share
2023 4,0073,55044911.2% 31.0%
2024 3,9213,29261615.6% 29.4%
2025 3,9603,32262015.5% 44.4%

In 2025, Poland’s embassy and consulates in Armenia (Yerevan) received 3,960 applications for short-stay Schengen visas and issued 3,322. 15.5% of applications were refused. In 2024 the rate was much the same, 15.6%. The number of applications was almost unchanged (3,921 in 2024).

For comparison, all Schengen states together refused 10.9% of the applications lodged in Armenia that year, from 0.9% at the consulates of Romania to 21.9% at those of Greece. Poland’s consulates worldwide refused 15.8%. Poland was the 8th most applied-for Schengen state in Armenia.

You apply to the Schengen state that is your main destination (the longest stay or the main purpose; the state of first entry only when there is none), so a lower rate elsewhere is no reason to apply there. The figures cover applications lodged in Armenia, by any nationality: mostly citizens, but also residents from other countries.
