Study in Tuvalu is one of the purposes for which regulation 3 allows a permit to enter and reside. The applicant must show good health and character, meet the requirements of the Immigration Act and hold a valid outward ticket or pay a repatriation bond. Students whose parents live in Tuvalu and who are returning on vacation or after finishing studies abroad may enter without a permit under section 7 of the Act.
Documents
Submit Form 3, completed in English or Tuvaluan and signed (by a parent or guardian if the student is under 18), with the passport or certificate of identity, two passport-size photographs, the fee, evidence of the study purpose, and evidence of financial capacity or a resident sponsor's form. Stays of more than a year also require medical and radiological examinations and police reports from every place you lived in for over a year during the past five years.
