Honorary Consulate of Myanmar in the Netherlands

Myanmar has an honorary consulate in Breda; honorary consulates handle emergencies and simple certifications rather than visas or passports.

Myanmar requires a visa from Dutch citizens, available online as an e-Visa. The application is made online on the official portal of Myanmar, not at a mission.

In return, the Netherlands has an embassy in Myanmar, in Yangon.

Myanmar in the Netherlands

There is no embassy of Myanmar in the Netherlands on record, so the Netherlands is probably covered by an embassy of Myanmar in another country. Worldwide, Myanmar has 41 missions in 34 countries; one of them is in the Netherlands.

Travel to the Netherlands for citizens of Myanmar

Citizens of Myanmar must obtain a visa before travelling to the Netherlands. In the Netherlands, citizens of Myanmar can turn to the honorary consul for first help in an emergency.
