Im Haushaltsjahr 2025 (Oktober 2024 bis September 2025) erteilten die USA 62.482 Nichteinwanderungsvisa an deutsche Staatsangehörige – Platz 26 unter den 206 erfassten Staatsangehörigkeiten. Besuchervisa (B1/B2) machten 35 % aus, Austauschvisa 21 % und Arbeits- und Vertragsvisa 21 %. Das sind 10 % weniger als im Haushaltsjahr 2024 (69.429).

Von Oktober 2025 bis Februar 2026 erhielten deutsche Staatsangehörige 18.612 Visa, 18 % weniger als im gleichen Zeitraum des Vorjahres.

Für Besuchervisa (B1/B2) weist das US-Außenministerium für deutsche Staatsangehörige im Haushaltsjahr 2025 eine bereinigte Ablehnungsquote von 12,2 % aus (Haushaltsjahr 2024: 10,0 %).
